Email Signup

This portion of the workshop will focus on the steps necessary to obtain a free email address which will be used throughout this workshop. A valid email address is required to sign up for most of the services that will be used for this project.

There are many free web based email providers out there to choose from. I have selected gMail from Google for this workshop because we will have the option of utilizing the account for Google Analytics at a future date.

Once the following steps are completed, you will be able to retrieve your email from anywhere in the world.

Step 1

Using your web browser (ie: FireFox or Internet Explorer), navigate to http://www.gmail.com and click "Create an account".
